This month we celebrated Mother's Day. At school, my son and his classmates worked hard to prepare for the Mother's Day Tea Celebration. I was greeted with a beautiful carnation and brought to my seat right next to my son. All of the children sang songs that they had been rehearsing for a few weeks. They had also made some great arts and crafts to give as gifts. One of the gifts was a painted pot with some potting soil and seeds to grow some flowers.
Last week, we decided to take the time to plant the seeds together.
It has only been 1 week, and we already have a few sprouts. It is so exciting to watch the kids go to the pot each day to see what is growing.
